Collagen, the most abundant protein in the human body, has emerged as a prominent biomaterial in tissue engineering due to its biocompatibility, biodegradability, and ability to mimic the natural Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM). This abstract provides an overview of recent advancements in collagen-based biomaterials for tissue engineering applications.
